Raindance CapCut Template: How to Find and Use It

The short answer
Search "raindance" in CapCut's Templates tab, pick one, tap Use template and add your own photos or clips. A Raindance CapCut template cuts your media to the song for free. What it cannot do is put your face into the pier-and-beach scenes of the Raindance AI trend; for that you need an AI video tool.
What a Raindance CapCut template is
A CapCut template is someone else's finished edit with empty slots: the cuts, transitions, text and music are fixed, and you fill the slots with your own photos or clips. CapCut's Rain Dance template page lists dozens of Raindance templates, the most popular with six-figure counts on their cards (October 2026).
Most of them are built around the song, not the AI trend. Typical Raindance templates are photo montages for couples, beach and summer clips, and lyric edits. A few use CapCut's own AI effects.
How to use a Raindance CapCut template
- Find a Raindance template. In the CapCut app, open Templates and search "raindance". On the web, CapCut lists them on its Rain Dance template page.
- Preview it. Play the template with the sound on and check how many clips or photos it asks for and how long it runs.
- Tap Use template. Pick the photos or clips from your camera roll in the order the template asks for.
- Adjust and export. Swap any clip that is cut badly, check the music still starts on time, then export and post to TikTok.
CapCut template vs the Raindance AI trend
The two get mixed up because both show up under the same sound. They produce different videos:

When to use which
- Use a CapCut template if you have good photos or clips of the two of you and want a free, quick edit to the song.
- Use a Raindance AI video generator if you want the trend's look: one of you waiting on a sunlit pier, the other singing, the sunset at the end. Make a Raindance AI video from two photos.
- Combine them. Make the AI video first, then drop it into CapCut to add text, trim it or add the song.

Adding the song in CapCut
- Start a new project and import your video.
- Open Audio, then Sounds, and search "Raindance".
- Line the song up with the first frame, then export.

- Ask everyone in the photos before you use them, and again before you post.
- Do not use photos of children or celebrities.
- Label AI-generated parts if your video includes them.

Is the Raindance CapCut template free?
Most Raindance templates on CapCut's template pages are free to use. Some templates or effects inside them can need CapCut Pro, so check for a Pro label before you start.
Can a CapCut template put my face into the Raindance video?
No. A template arranges the photos and clips you give it. It does not generate new scenes, so you will not appear on the pier unless you filmed yourself there.
Which Raindance CapCut template is the right one?
Many templates named "raindance" are unrelated photo slideshows that happen to use the song. Preview a few and pick one whose cuts and length match what you want to post.
Why is the song missing from my CapCut template?
Music libraries differ by country and account. If the song is unavailable, export the video without it and add "Raindance" as a sound in TikTok when you post.
