How to make a Raindance AI clip

  1. 1

    Pick a scene

Choose the Golden-Hour Pier, Rain on the Pier or the Beach at Sunset.

  2. 2

    Choose solo or duo

Solo needs one photo. Duo needs two: person 1 appears on the left, person 2 on the right.

  3. 3

    Upload clear photos

One adult per photo, facing the camera, face and shoulders visible, in even light.

  4. 4

Make the clip and add the song

Download the silent 8-second 9:16 MP4, add "Raindance" by Dave and Tems in TikTok or CapCut, and post.

Post it like the trend

Most Raindance AI posts open on an ordinary photo, then cut to the clip with the song running underneath. Post your original photo first and the clip second, or put them in one video in CapCut.

In TikTok, tap Add sound and search "Raindance Dave Tems". Turn on the AI-generated content label before you post. The full steps are in how to do the Raindance AI trend.

Who to put on the pier

  • Just you, singing to the camera at golden hour.
  • You and your partner, sharing a jacket in the rain.
  • Best friends on the beach as the sun goes down.
  • Two people who live far apart, on one pier.

Raindance AI video maker questions

What is the Raindance AI video maker?

It turns one or two photos into a short Raindance-style clip: you on a wooden pier or a beach, singing softly toward the camera or to each other. Each clip is a single 8-second shot in vertical 9:16.

How is it different from the full Raindance AI video?

The full Raindance AI video follows the shots of the trend itself and needs two photos. The video maker makes one new 8-second scene, works with a single photo and is vertical, so it is quicker for a solo post or a second take.

Can I make a Raindance AI video with one photo?

Yes. Choose Solo and upload one clear photo of yourself. You appear on your own in the scene, singing toward the camera.

Will the mouth movements match the Raindance lyrics?

Not word for word. The clip shows you singing softly, but it is not timed to the song, so the lips will not follow each lyric. It reads as a music-video moment rather than a lip-sync.

Does the clip include the song?

No. Clips are silent. Add the official "Raindance" sound in TikTok, Reels or CapCut when you post, which also links your post to the trend.

Will it look like me?

It keeps your face, hairstyle and usually your outfit from the photo. A sharp, front-facing photo in daylight gives the closest likeness; selfies taken very close to the face come out less accurate.

Why was my photo not accepted?

The video engine checks every photo and turns some down, for example photos that look like a public figure. Try a different photo of the same person. You are not charged for a photo that is turned down.

Can I use photos of celebrities or kids?

No. Only upload photos of adults who agreed to be in the video. Public figures and minors are not allowed.
