Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how we handle your information when you use Raindance AI Video, submit photos, generate videos, make purchases or contact support.
Who this policy covers
Raindance AI Video handles information from visitors, account holders and people who contact support at raindanceaivideo.app. You can also contact us if someone has used your photo or likeness without permission.
Information we handle
Account information includes your name, email address, verification status and account timestamps. Password sign-in stores a password hash. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive profile and authentication information, which can include your name, email, profile image and tokens needed for that sign-in.
Authentication and technical records can include session identifiers, IP address, browser information and sign-in timestamps. Support correspondence includes messages and attachments you choose to send.
Generation information includes submitted photos, generation settings, task identifiers, status, errors and generated videos. Photos or attachments you email to support are received as part of your correspondence.
Purchase and credit records include order references, amounts, currency, payment status, credit reservations and usage, refunds and disputes. Stripe handles payment-card entry; we do not receive your full card number. Google Analytics receives website usage and device information as described below.
Why we use information
We use account and authentication information to provide and secure access, verify email addresses and support password recovery. We process submitted photos and settings to generate and deliver videos, recover tasks and handle reported failures. Purchase and credit records support billing, credit accounting, refunds and disputes. Correspondence supports customer service and privacy or removal requests. Technical records and analytics help maintain, secure and understand use of the website.
Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, information necessary to provide an account is processed to perform our agreement with you. Appropriate security and support processing may rely on legitimate interests, and required records may be retained to comply with legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. The analytics section describes the controls currently available.
Service providers and disclosures
Cloudflare provides application hosting and database/storage infrastructure. Resend delivers configured service emails, such as verification and password-reset messages. Google provides optional Google sign-in and Google Analytics. Incoming support email is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our business Gmail inbox; correspondence is handled using Gmail and Resend.
When you submit a generation request, we send the necessary photos, reference media and generation settings to KIE and the model providers involved in fulfilling the request. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices. Successful results are copied to private Cloudflare R2 storage for delivery through your account.
Stripe processes payment and billing information at checkout. We receive the transaction information needed to associate a purchase with your account, provide purchased access and handle billing questions, refunds or disputes.
We may disclose relevant information where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate misuse and protect rights, subject to applicable law. A business transfer may involve relevant records with any legally required safeguards and notice.
Providers may process information outside your country. Their processing locations and practices depend on the service used. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your request. Using this website is not described as consent to every international transfer.
Cookies and Google Analytics
On the production website, Google Analytics 4 loads when you visit, without waiting for a cookie-consent choice. It uses analytics cookies and records page views, successful email sign-ups and email or Google logins, photo-selection and readiness events, sign-in prompts, draft recovery, preview and video-generation outcomes, checkout starts, confirmed purchases and video-download clicks, along with standard usage and device information. Purchase events contain the public pack name, catalog price, currency and a shortened SHA-256 hash of the order reference. Google also receives network information, including your IP address, when your browser contacts its service.
Our analytics events use fixed public page names and remove query strings and fragments from page URLs. Referrers are reduced to the referring origin. These events do not include your email address, photos, prompts, passwords, authentication tokens or private download URLs. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
There is currently no on-site Accept/Reject banner or cookie-settings control. You can manage cookies through your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent analytics requests. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Retention and deletion requests
Account records support your account while it is open. Support and technical records are held for handling requests, security and troubleshooting; relevant records may also be needed for legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Contact us to request deletion or account closure. We assess the request, verify identity or authority proportionately and explain any records that must remain.
Photos, videos and task records are retained as needed for generation, delivery, task recovery and support. You may request deletion of your submitted photos, generated videos or account by contacting support. Download a copy of any result you want to keep independently of the service.
Selected photos are resized to JPEG with embedded metadata removed and saved with your settings in this browser for up to 24 hours so you can continue after sign-in or checkout. Drafts are cleared after a task is created, when you choose to edit preview photos, or when you sign out. Photos may remain available on the current page when you retry or make another video. Expired drafts are removed when the site next reads browser storage. Browser storage does not sync photos between devices.
Payment, credit and security records may need to be retained for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention or unresolved disputes. Session or cookie expiry does not itself erase related server records.
Copies held by email, analytics and other service providers follow their applicable arrangements. Removal from our active records does not mean that every provider or recovery copy disappears at the same moment. We will explain relevant limitations when handling a request.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete or restrict use of your information, object to processing, withdraw consent where applicable and complain to a relevant data protection authority.
Send privacy, account-closure and likeness-removal requests to support. Identify the account or material concerned without including unnecessary sensitive information. We may verify your authority and will respond within the period required by applicable law. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and how to submit them safely.
Keep your credentials private. We use access controls and security measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and policy updates
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Photos of minors are not permitted. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information or their image has been used so we can investigate.
We update this policy as processing changes. The date above identifies this version. We will provide further notice of material changes where required.
